Domino Day postponed again to an indefinite date

UPDATE 12/02/2021: Dutch TV-chain RTL comes with an alternative to Domino Day .

The corona crisis continues to throw a spanner in the works for the largest domino event in the world. Today, RTL and EndemolShine informed RTL Boulevard that the event will be postponed again. No new date has been given. Previously, Domino Day had been postponed from November 2020 to March 2021.

The reason for the postponement, according to the organisers, is that "Domino Day is an expensive project and given the circumstances, due to the corona crisis, the financial risk is too high".

So for the time being, we have to be content with looking at old footage. Below you'll find the video of the last Domino Day in 2009, where the world record was set at 4,491,863 toppled dominoes.
